Be proud when you lose
Because embracing the principle of life like water in the river: flowing, flowing, and flowing. Often I was swept away by life somewhere. In recent years, even the river water of my life has moved more cruel than usual. Leads people who are much heavier than usual. Has a job much more complex than ever. Some of my subordinates even have a much better working ability than me. Office politics run everywhere. Feeling peaceful is more important than anything else, ever suggested that subordinates await me, but because of various other factors have not been allowed by the 'omnipotent'.
As a result, you can imagine yourself spiraling down such a life wave. Still can live, what else can write really very lucky. However, lately I am very grateful, there is a lot of wisdom and maturity of life just hide behind the waves of life. To be frank, I owe it to the waves.
As an ordinary human being appointed leader, I also responded 'disease' want to win in front of subordinates. Unfortunately, the more the disease appears, the more I am below the way out, somehow the experience of others. It turns out my body and soul are the type that does not want to invite into life win-hand. The more invited there the more damaged it feels.
In the midst of such anxiety of life, an American colleague sent me an interesting book. The book, written by David Maraniss with the title of Pride Still Mattered: A Life of Vince Lombardi, speaks volumes about the life philosophy of a legendary football coach named Vince Lombardi. Life is not far from the game of football there is a match. There are those who win and lose.
Competition does bring vitality in life. Make life more passionate. Get up early so get excited. However, like a soccer player, there is no life that always contains victory. Winning and losing are two things that go hand in hand with each other. Some win because there are losers. For that, in order to keep the stamina of life is very important we control ourselves before mastering others.
In terms of self-control Maraniss wrote very well: 'Be proud and unbending in defeat, yet humble and gentle in victory'. Maybe for you this is mediocre. However, for me who lives in a life of victorious deity, the last piece is very moving.
How not to arouse, in the midst of a chaotic mood of triumphant passion, suddenly there are people who invite bagga for a defeat. And like a soccer championship, are not we the ones who sit in second, third or non cup, become the 'ladder' that picks up the champion? And even more great, has become a ladder stepped on champion, often also in the ridicule of others. Is not it glorious, on the one hand to lift others, and on the other hand we are lowered our degrees by others?
I do not know your beliefs, but I feel I've become a winner after understanding the principle of 'proud when lost'. Because, victory is here: within yourself. And he must be strived for continuously. As Maraniss writes: 'complete victory can never be won, it must be pursued'. On another occasion, I call it logic of discovery not logic of perfection. A logic that does not concentrate on perfection, but on discovery and daily travel.
Every discovery, like a bright purifying. Simple sign, round-shaped mouth while saying 'O', enlightened soul, and physical and psychological stamina increased. And my experience speaks, all this is hiding neatly behind the many wave of life waves.
Only by reading do we know bias. However, deepening with understanding is more likely to be present to those who have passed from a ferocious wave of life. And this is what makes me owe a lot to the University of Difficulties. A school I'm so proud of.
You, I'm sure it must have its own experience. As a unique fingerprint, it is of course unique. It's just my experience to tell, God actually communicates with us every day. Again, faithful [day. Through what? Of course through the passing events in sight. There is only one person who captures the meaning of the passing events in front of the eyes through all his sensitivity, there are deaf and blind people with it. In this thinking frame, I am grateful for both victory and defeat. Both of them bring pride. Even in defeat, pride mixes with glory.
